Certified and notarised by a licensed Portuguese lawyer from our partner network, registered with the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados).
Three services, one flat price. Pick the job you need done and we'll take it from there.
A copy of your passport, diploma or certificate, certified as matching the original. From a scan you upload, nothing posted in.
Certified copies →A declaration or form that a bank, authority or institution will only accept with a formally recognised signature.
Signature notarisation →Let someone in Portugal act for you on a personal matter, or cancel a power of attorney you gave before. We can draft it too.
Powers of attorney →Birth certificates, criminal records, court decisions and more, arranged by a licensed Portuguese lawyer. Apostille service →
Under Portuguese law (Article 38 of Decree-Law 76-A/2006), a licensed lawyer can certify true copies and recognise signatures, and the law gives those acts the same evidential force as if a notary had performed them. Each act is registered in the official online register. The handful of formalities the law reserves for a notário are listed under honest limits below.
Flat, per document.
Included per document. Longer than that, we confirm a small top-up before any work starts.
Per order. Two documents means two orders, so each gets its own certification.
Business days for certified acts. Drafting a power of attorney takes up to 5.
The clock starts once your identity check clears and your document or instructions are in, not at payment. An apostille adds about a week.
Everything runs online, through your order thread and your inbox.
Certified copy, signature or power of attorney, flat €79. Add drafting, an apostille or postal delivery only if you need them.
Tell us the details, upload your document or your drafting instructions, then complete a quick online identity check with your passport and your phone camera.
A licensed Portuguese lawyer certifies your document, usually within 2–3 business days, and the certified PDF lands in your inbox.
Every order comes back as a certified digital PDF by email, which is enough for most people. Add the rest only if your situation needs it.
For powers of attorney only. A Portuguese lawyer drafts a standard personal PoA for you. Personal, non-commercial matters only, and drafting takes the total to about 5 business days.
Usually needed outside the EU. Adds about a week. Only need the apostille, no notarisation? That's its own service.
€30 within Portugal, €50 in the EU, €100 international. Only add this if you want the physical original mailed to you. The certified PDF arrives by email either way.
We'd rather tell you now than after you've paid.
One document per order, one signatory per document. Powers of attorney cover personal matters only, so nothing for buying or selling property or a vehicle, and no commercial deals. Those usually need a notário or a fuller legal engagement.
We don't translate documents. If your destination country isn't in the Hague Convention, an apostille isn't the right instrument at all.
Some formalities, like inheritance deeds and certain notarial acts, legally sit with a notário rather than a lawyer.
“Cesar took his time with me and never made me feel like I was holding him up. He explained each stage in plain language so I actually understood what was happening and what came next. By the end of the call I knew what to do. Genuinely grateful, it took the stress out of the whole thing.”
“Mariana was thorough and easy to talk to. She covered things I hadn't thought to ask about. Two of my cousins are making the same move next spring and they're booking with her.”
“Smooth the whole way through. You always know which stage you're at and what's needed from you, and the instructions don't leave room for misreading. Money well spent.”
“Immigrating to another country is intimidating and having people who know the system behind you changes everything. They're professional, they're helpful, and they went beyond what I was expecting. I'd recommend them to anyone moving to Portugal without hesitation.”
